Sexed silkies mix colors chicks

Just had my personal best hatch ever.

216/230 fertile Silkie eggs. 94%

Apart from 4 chicks with splayed legs that are getting a helping hand, all other chicks looking strong.

It’s very odd how it works, better hatches sometimes than others buy doing the same thing.

I ran the incubator this time at 40 humidity then on day 19 moved eggs into Hatcher set at 65 but going up to 75 during hatching.

All eggs were from my own 10 breeding pens producing gold, lavender, white, red, black, blue, splash, partridge, chocolate, paint & cuckoo colours.
